These are your choices, not a vote to remove someone's speech. A mute hides an author's feed posts. A block also prevents new direct messages, friendship requests and opportunity introductions between you.

Unmuting does not unblock. Unblocking does not unmute. Public content can still be viewed when signed out; these controls do not make public posts private.
